Wild in Art - the Big Hoot!

I'd been DYING to do a Wild in Art project for years, and then this one came up in Birmingham. I was commissioned to produce two owls, one for Pertemps recruitment agency and the other for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Here they are at the launch party, held at Fort Dunlop:

About Me

Hi! I'm an artist, illustrator and cartoonist who works widely in the UK. I studied Illustration and Graphic Design at St Martin's School of Art (in the days when it was St Martin's!), Art Education at UCE (in the days when it was UCE!), Heritage Management at Birmingham University, Archaeological Illustration at Swindon College and History of Art at Leicester University.

I've worked for many clients over the years, including the BBC, Methuen, Blackie, Transworld Publishing, Penguin, Mitchell Beazley, Scripture Union, Jasper Carrott and many magazines and greetings card companies.

I have also exhibited widely; recent shows include the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, the Shrewsbury Cartoon Festival, the St Just Cartoon Festival and a solo exhibition at the Weekend Gallery, Hastings.

I am a member of the Professional Cartoonists' Organisation, the Association of Illustrators, and I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
